What this site stores
This site never uses advertising cookies. It stores one small item in your browser to remember your answer to the cookie notice, so it doesn't ask you every time.
If you choose Accept analytics, we also use Google Analytics cookies (named _ga and _ga_*, kept for up to two years) to count visits and see which pages are read. If you choose Essential only, these are not set.
Security checks
When you send a message through the contact form, a spam-protection check runs. It's needed to keep the form working and doesn't track you around the web.
Other sites
Book covers and the author photo are loaded from Amazon’s image servers, and fonts from Bunny Fonts. Neither sets cookies on this site. When you follow a link to Amazon, Substack or Instagram, those sites may set their own cookies. Check their cookie policies for details.
Changing your choice
You can clear this site's stored data at any time in your browser settings. The cookie notice will then appear again.
